Overview
The Photon motor is a top-tier mid-drive conversion system engineered for riders who demand both serious performance and excellent integration. It features advanced torque-sensing technology, steel gear construction, and a modular design built to fit a wide range of frames and bottom bracket configurations.

• Torque sensor + cadence sensor built in: Offers immediate, smooth pedal assist engagement and a natural riding feel. 

• Multiple chainring/ ring sizes: You can select from 36 T, 38 T, 40 T (and 42 T, 50 T in some configurations) depending on your gearing needs and frame clearance. 

• Bottom-bracket compatibility: Supports a range of shell widths and types (e.g., BSA 68-83 mm, 100 mm, 120 mm; BB92 press-fit) so it works with many mainstream hard-tails, full-suspension bikes and custom frames. 

• Display & controller options: Compatible with the SW102 display (and other CYC displays such as DS103) giving you full control, diagnostics and tuning via app. 

• Firmware and voltage flexibility: The Photon supports various firmware versions (250 W road-legal mode, up to 750 W peak) and a wide voltage range (36 V to 72 V depending on model/version).

Build/Service Options (For Your Customers)

• You will offer the Photon motor fitted with the chainring size of choice — 36T for tight climbs & compact drives, 38T for balanced performance, 40T for higher top-end speed.

• You’ll check the customer’s frame’s bottom bracket width/type and fit the correct adapter or BB option (e.g., BSA 68-83, 100, 120, or BB92 press‐fit) to ensure perfect fit.

• You’ll integrate the display (SW102 or equivalent) and configure the firmware for the customer’s intended use (e.g., legal road-friendly, off-road high-power mode) so they get the right performance profile.

• You’ll ensure that your 72 V battery builds (which you already offer) are matched with the motor’s voltage/firmware setup correctly so you maximise performance while maintaining reliability.
